We know it can be very, and perhaps overly difficult to access the Boot Menu in Windows 10. It is no secret that Microsoft intended this design aspect, which many consider a “flaw”. So we have the solution for you, but proceed with caution as only an experienced person should attempt this! Follow these steps below:
(a) Access the System Run (i.e. “CTRL+R”) dialog
(b) Launch a Command Prompt (Admin) by typing without quotes: “cmd.exe”
(c) Within the Command Prompt, use the following command:
Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.16299.309]
(c) 2017 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.
C:\Users\Administrator> bcdedit /set {default} bootmenupolicy legacy
Upon running the command, you will be notified of a successful action. So now when you start your computer, the good ole’ trick of tapping “F8” will display the Windows Boot Menu! As a company, Colletti Tech shall not assume liability for damages created by an individual to their Windows 10 system.
